St. Luke’s Health-Memorial Lufkin employees and the local community are encouraged to donate blood during our Blood Drive on Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at the hospital's Community Room A/B from 11am-5pm.
Donating blood is a rewarding and beneficial act that can save lives, improve health, and contribute to the well-being of the community. According to a recent article, regularly donating blood may improve your heart health by reducing the thickness of your blood, allowing it to flow more easily through your body and reach your heart faster. When you give blood, others live.
Successful donors will receive a $25 eGift card. Blood cannot be manufactured, that’s why we depend on valuable donors like you. Your blood donations are used for patients in need of surgery, cancer treatment and transfusions for blood loss from traumatic injuries.
